This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the policies and procedures on the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of your information when you use our website located at homefoodi.com, or the Homefoodi mobile application (collectively, “Homefoodi Platform”) made available by BLD Dine Homes Pvt Ltd (“Homefoodi”, “Company”, “we”, “us” and “our”).
The terms “you” and “your” refer to the user of the Homefoodi Platform. The term “Services” refers to the local search and discovery services offered by Homefoodi on the Platform.
Please read this Policy before using the Homefoodi Platform or submitting any personal information to Homefoodi. This Policy is a part of and incorporated within, and is to be read along with, the Terms & Conditions.
1. Important Notice Regarding Our Business Model
Homefoodi operates as a local search and discovery platform that connects users with independent third-party Food Suppliers (such as Home Chefs, Tiffin Suppliers, and Caterers). We do not process orders, handle payments, or manage deliveries. Any communication, transaction, or arrangement for food services is made directly between you and the Food Supplier. This Policy governs the information you provide to Homefoodi; it does not cover any information you choose to share directly with Food Suppliers.
2. Your Consent
By using the Homefoodi Platform and the Services, you agree and consent to the collection, transfer, use, storage, disclosure, and sharing of your information as described and collected by us in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with the Policy, please do not use or access the Homefoodi Platform.
3. Policy Changes
We may occasionally update this Policy and such changes will be posted on this page. If we make any significant changes, we will endeavour to provide you with reasonable notice, such as via a prominent notice on the Homefoodi Platform or to your email address on record. Your continued use of our Services after we publish a notice about our changes to this Policy shall constitute your consent to the updated Policy.
4. Links to Third-Party Websites & Services
The Homefoodi Platform contains information and links related to Food Suppliers and other third parties. When you contact a Food Supplier or visit their website, any personal information you share is not governed by this Policy. Homefoodi shall not be responsible for and has no control over the privacy practices or the content of any third-party service you interact with.
5. Information We Collect
We may collect the following information from you:
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and a password.
- User Content: We collect information you provide in your reviews, ratings, and photos, which are visible to other users.
- Device Information: We may collect information about the devices you use to access our Services, including hardware models, operating systems, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information, to improve app stability and user experience.
- Usage Information: We collect information about how you interact with our Services, such as your search queries, pages viewed, and bookmarks.

iv. To provide you with information about services we consider may interest you, via electronic means (e.g., email, SMS, push notifications);
v. To understand our users, improve the content and features of our Services (such as by personalizing content to your interests), and respond to your queries;
vi. To generate and review reports and data about our user base and Service usage patterns;
vii. To measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising we serve to you and others.
8. Disclosure of Your Information

When you choose to contact a Food Supplier through a phone number or messaging link on our platform, you are initiating a direct communication and sharing your information with them.
- With Academic Partners: We may share anonymized or aggregated information with academic partners for research purposes.
- For Legal Reasons: We may share information with governmental agencies when obligated under applicable laws, to respond to court orders, to detect and prevent fraud or other illegal acts, or to enforce our Terms & Conditions.
- For Internal Use: We may share your information with any present or future member of our "Group" or affiliates for our internal business purposes.
- With Advertisers: We may work with third parties to serve advertisements on the Homefoodi Platform and on third-party websites. These parties may use tracking technologies to personalize advertising content.
9. Data Security Precautions
We have in place appropriate technical and security measures to secure the information collected by us. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a username and password, you are responsible for keeping these details confidential.
As we do not process payments, we do not collect or store sensitive financial data like credit/debit card numbers.
Please be aware that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its security. Once we have received your information, we will use strict safeguards to try to prevent unauthorized access.
10. Opt-Out
When you sign up, you are opting in to receive emails from Homefoodi. You can manage your email preferences or follow the “unsubscribe” instructions in commercial email messages. Note that you cannot opt out of receiving certain administrative or legal notices from Homefoodi.
If you wish to withdraw your consent for the use of your personal information or want your data to be deleted, please write to us at help@homefoodi.com. We will process such requests within 5 business days, after which we will not use your data for any processing unless required by law. Please note that withdrawing your consent may limit our ability to provide Services to you.
